The Sierra IR Combustibles Gas Detector Module is Best of Class when it comes to providing the features. The IR Gas Sensor Module utilizes Non-Dispersive Infrared technology to monitor for combustible gases (Methane and others). Output range is either 0-100% of LEL or percent (%) by volume. This Module requires minimal maintenance with a calibration check once a year. Internal continuous self-diagnostics will automatically indicate any fault or optics problems.

The Catalytic Bead Combustible Gas Sensor Module utilizes the proven, reliable, catalytic bead technology to monitor for combustible gases (methane and others). Output range is 0-100% of Lower Explosive Limit (LEL). This detector has minimal maintenance requirements for six month calibration intervals. Internal, continuous self-diagnostics automatically detect and alarm any fault problems. For higher level system capability the module can interface directly to Sierra Monitor’s Sentry Controller system.

Sierra Monitor offers a variety of gas calibrators to help the users keep their gas sensor modules properly calibrated and accurate. The Calibrator Kit includes a regulator, calibration adapter and carrying case. The individual calibration gas cylinders are sold separately. The 1260 Series gas cylinders are large capacity enabling the user to perform many calibrations with a single cylinder. There are a variety of cylinder sizes available.
